(GWC), Qatar’s leading logistics provider, was recently awarded the ISO 27001:2013 for information security management systems (ISMS) after a thorough audit of its Record Management Services (RMS) department by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. This most recent ISO certificate is a testament to GWC’s high standard of security and guaranteed customer confidentiality during the provision of physical and electronic, archiving, retrieval, and disposal of documents.
The first records management service provider in Qatar to acquire this standard, it stands as a testament to GWC’s commitment to continuous improvement across all aspects of its service, as well as the Company’s ability to forecast the needs and requirements of its clientele. The certificate is among the most difficult to acquire, necessitating strict review of practices, facilities, and equipment, with audits performed periodically to assure sustained quality.
