GWC and Bridgestone Sign Supply Chain Management Agreement
GWC (Q.P.S.C.), the leading logistics provider in the State of Qatar, has signed an agreement with Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Europe SA, by which GWC will handle all supply chain management requirements for Bridgestone aircraft tires in the State of Qatar for a period of five years.
The signing ceremony was held virtually between Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Europe CEO Mr. Michael Codron and GWC Group CEO Mr. Ranjeev Menon. The ceremony was attended virtually by top officials from both companies.
“GWC’s track record of reliability, delivery, and commitment to QHSSE principles is a matter of utmost importance for us at Bridgestone internationally,” stated Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Europe CEO Mr. Michael Codron. “With this agreement, we are sure to enhance the speed of delivery and efficiency of operations for both Bridgestone and our end customers in the State of Qatar.”
The agreement is expected to handle the movement of over 10,000 aircraft tires a year as they work their way through the entire supply chain, starting with freight, customs clearance, transport, warehousing, and last mile delivery, offering door-to-door services.
